Dry ice & cold-chain handling
We transport temperature-sensitive items using validated, insulated packaging. For dry ice consignments (carbon dioxide, solid), we use vented containers and trained drivers to manage safe handling.
- • Packaging: insulated, vented containers; never airtight when using dry ice.
- • PPE: thermal gloves and eye protection when handling dry ice packs.
- • Stowage: segregated load area with good ventilation; containers kept upright.
- • Labelling: consignor-supplied labels & documentation affixed before collection.
- • Monitoring: optional temperature/data logging; custody timestamps on request.
- • Safety: no loose dry ice in vehicle; drivers briefed on CO₂ exposure precautions.
We follow your handling instructions and applicable carriage rules. Tell us your required temperature band (e.g. 2–8 °C, −20 °C, −80 °C) and hold time.
- • Passive shippers for 2–8 °C, −20 °C and deep-freeze lanes
- • Re-ice/re-pack at specified hubs (by prior arrangement)
- • Data-logger collection/return and audit trail attachment to PoD
